AMANDA BISHOP, RYT:

Amanda teaches and practices Vinyasa yoga. Her classes have a strong anatomic focus that helps to build strength and flexibility. She believes yoga can benefit everyone by helping to connect you with your true self, and simply be present in life. Yoga is about finding your inner truth and experiencing bliss.

Her journey on the yogic path began in 2005 under the instruction of Santosh Powell in Breckenridge Co. Yoga became a way of life for her. After many years of dedicated practice she moved comfortably into the role of teaching and sharing yoga. By enrolling in the Axis Yoga teacher trainings in Denver, Colorado, she gained knowledge in many branches of yoga: Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda.

Amanda is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified instructor. She continues to cultivate her yoga through practice.

ANGIE FRENCH, RYT:

“And the day came that to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Anais Nin-

After spending many years on an unhealthy path, I knew I needed a change. Yoga became my vehicle. In 2005, I began my yogic journey, spending four years in the classroom under the guidance of Cooke Fischer.

I was first drawn to yoga on the physical level, but yoga has transformed my life in many more ways. Throughout my practice I have become a much happier, more focused, content, and healthier person.

In 2009 I was ready to start sharing my passion for yoga with others and I began my Teacher Training with Axis Yoga Trainings in Denver, CO. My education includes Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga and Pranayama. I enjoy teaching an alignment based, vinyasa flow class, with poses being held for several breaths to create Tapas(heat) in the body. Anyone can be transformed through yoga, you just have to take the first step. I invite you to come experience it, and start on your personal yogic journey!

MORGAN MOORE:

I was drawn to the practice of yoga in 2004 as a way to create balance physically in my body with other athletic endeavors. Since then, with the help and guidance of many incredible teachers, I have found more than simply physical balance, but rather a total mind, body, heart connection through yoga. I have been inspired by amazing instructors who have motivated me to forever continue to further my practice on all levels. This has been a remarkable gift in my life, and I hope through the process of teaching yoga, I can thus inspire that light inside others.

As an outdoor educator, I spend my time facilitating experiences for students to find appreciation for themselves and the natural world. I strongly believe that through yoga, we can find a connection not only to ourselves, but to nature as well, since we are a part of nature. Yoga is an amazing journey, and an extraordinary way to unite with ourselves, and with nature.

Currently, I am training in the style of Anusara yoga, in order to better serve my students by deepening their experiences and connections through the practice of yoga.

EMILY STEINGART:

Emily teaches Hatha Yoga in the form of Restorative and Yoga Therapy focusing her practice on connecting the mind and body with the breath, adapting her lessons to meet the individuals goals. She provides a class that is tailored to your needs whether it be to gain relief from chronic pain, facilitate injury recovery, improve flexibility, reduce stress, improve well-being, ease depression, or simply retain your youthfulness and energy. She provides a warm and safe environment for students. Her classes include pranayama (breath work), gentle flow, holding postures until the breath becomes steady, guided imagery, and relaxation. Emily makes adjustments for each individual allowing yoga to be comfortable for anyone practicing.

Emily started practicing yoga in the fall of 2004 back where she is from in Massachusetts. After facing many life changes and a family tragedy, yoga was the one thing that kept her moving on the right track and kept her hopes up. Since that time she has explored many styles of yoga, mainly practicing a Vinyasa flow. Having a graduate certificate in Public Health and Community Development she went to Haiti on a medical mission and realized how beneficial yoga could be to those people suffering from loss and emotional set backs. Therefore, she chose to study Yoga Therapy, in hopes to have a positive impact and share her knowledge. She completed her 200 hour teacher training through Integrative Yoga Therapy at Radiant Wellness in Ponte Vedra, Florida and is certified with Yoga Alliance. She continues to emerge herself in workshops and is eager to learn more.
